We're delighted to be able to host our next Open Day on 16th February 2025 for you to come and find out about our course and for us to meet you.

The Outdoor Instructor Training program has been designed to prepare you for a career as an outdoor instructor from speaking with industry experts and constant analysis of the ever changing outdoor qualification eco-system. We’re talking about walking straight into exciting roles as independent instructors for some of the best employers around.

Mountain Training & other climbing

· Summer Mountain Leader (Training & ASSESSMENT)

· Rock Climbing Instructor (Training & ASSESSMENT )

· Climbing Wall Instructor + Abseil Module (Training & Assessment)

· BMC Coaching - Fundamentals of Climbing 1

.CWDI Possible if up to standard

British Canoeing Awards

· White Water Personal awards In Kayak or Canoe

· Paddlesport Instructor

· Paddlesport Safety and Rescue

· Kayak & Canoe - Start, Discover, Explore

Also Included

· 16 Hour Outdoor First Aid

· The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award: Assessor (all levels)

· Mountain Bike Instructor Award Level 1 & 2

· Sports Coach UK Safeguarding

· In-house certificates: Bushcraft, Zipwire, Archery, Team games, Tree climb , Axe Throwing

· Experience and quality mountain days (QMDs) for logbook towards International Mountain Leader

· The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award: Gold (under 25s)

· Food Hygiene level 2

· Enhanced DBS

Open Day 2025

Details of the assessment Day:

Start Time: 10am at Dynamic Adventures - Dartington, Devon

Finish Time: 4pm at Dynamic Adventures - Dartington, Devon

Over the course of the day we will be running a variety of surprise activities for everyone to take part in!

Please make sure to bring/wear weather appropriate clothing as the activities will take place predominantly outside!

Lunch, Tea & coffee will be provided. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.

I started with a love for the outdoors, hoping to escape the busy PGL environment, and just weeks after completing the course, I’ve already guided a school group up Snowdon and started working at my local climbing wall. The Mountain Leader (ML) training, which I was initially apprehensive about, turned out to be the highlight of my experience.
