Paul founded Dynamic Adventures CIC 21 years ago, with the aim to reconnect people back to the outdoors in order to develop and maintain a respect and care for the natural world. Paul has been working in the outdoor industry for over 25 years, he is passionate about getting people of all abilities into the great outdoors on expeditions and adventures! Paul spends most of his time in the mountains either climbing or walking with groups and for personal enjoyment.

NICKY CLARK-YALLAND

Senior Instructor/

D of E Manager

Nicky Joined Dynamic 10 years ago as an expedition leader and her experience has become vital to Dynamic. She has run expeditions all over the world from Borneo to South America, from Iceland to Africa.

Nicky is passionate about the great outdoors and takes her two sons into the wild often.

Qualifications are:

Summer Mountain Leader, RCI , Level 4 BCU coach, First aid coach , Duke Of Edinburgh Assessor

KATIE MITCHELL

Senior Instructor

Katie has been with Dynamic since 2005. She’s our paddling specialist, found on the river whenever possible, but also loves to get out climbing, hiking, or anything else that’s a good adventure! Katie is always accompanied by JD her trusty chocolate Labrador who is a great hit with all the groups.

Qualifications are:

BCU L4 Kayak/Canoe Coach, RCI, Summer ML, GB Archery, Duke Of Edinburgh Assessor

JEN HOPPER

Operations Manager

Devon girl Jen is a lover of the outdoors. Practically living in her T4 6 months of the year. Yoga, Skateboarding, music, travel and being in or on sea are her biggest passions.

JOISE DAYMENT

Bookkeeper

Josie is the bookkeeper at Dynamic Adventures, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. When she's not balancing the books, she's out sailing, walking her Labrador along the beautiful South Devon coastline, or diving into her next DIY project at home.

KIRSTY KENYON

D of E Assistant

Kirsty plays a key role in assisting Nicky with all things related to the Duke of Edinburgh (D of E) Award. From map planning to organizing expeditions, she helps ensure every detail is covered.

When Kirsty isn't busy planning D of E adventures, you'll find her out on the hockey pitch or enjoying quality time with her family.

EMMYLOU FERRY

Instructor

Originally from Scotland, Emmy moved to south Devon from London in 2021 to pursue a career in the outdoors. Emmy is passionate about helping young people to build confidence, independence and resilience and believes that adventures in the outdoors can offer the perfect challenge to help young people achieve this. In her free time, Emmy loves anything that is active and outdoors and spends a lot of her free time hiking, camping, surfing, paddling, running and cycling.

ZACH YOUNG

Instructor

Zachary is a avid outdoor enthusiast and instructor from Snowdonia National Park. Currently delving into Level 5 studies in outdoor learning. Rooted in his outdoor upbringing, his passion extends beyond adventure, as he keenly explores the educational aspects of the outdoors.

CWI, ML, CWDI, RCI, MIAS 2, PI, DOF Expedition Assessor

MATT VOWLES

Instructor

There isn’t much Matt hasn’t done. Working in the education system for many years, then following the route to the outdoor industry. He Worked on Cruise ships for many years before residing in Thailand for several years . He has has recently completed a diploma in Hypnotherapy.

RACHEL SCOTT

Rachel has been a valuable member of the Dynamic Adventures team for many years. As a qualified teacher, she also takes on freelance work for us both nationally and internationally. Rachel brings a wealth of experience and holds numerous qualifications.

PHILL GEORGE

Freelancer

Phill has been an active mountaineer for over 40 years. During that time he has completed the Winter Mountain Climbing Instructor (WMCI) qualification and the British Mountain Guides scheme (IFMGA) which qualifies him for all aspects of mountaineering activities world wide.

Phill is a qualified teacher and has worked for private and Local Education based centres throughout the country on an instructional basis and as a technical expert.

Based in Snowdonia, he now specialises in providing National Governing Body Awards for Summer Mountain Leader (ML) Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) and Hill & Moorland (HML)

Phill’s personal mountaineering has taken him to America, Canada, Norway, New Zealand and Europe. His work has taken him to the Alps, Europe, Norway and Baffin Island.

Lou Tully

Louise Tully runs Freedom-Outdoors from Llanberis in Snowdonia, North Wales, offering courses and guiding in a variety of mountain and water-based activities. From hillwalking to scrambling, and rock climbing to sea kayaking, Snowdonia provides the ideal environment to perfect outdoor skills. Whatever a client's interest in the mountains, rivers, lakes, or coastline, Louise most likely has a course to suit them. If a specific course is not available, she can design a custom experience.

As a Mountaineering Instructor and Paddlesport Coach with 20 years of experience both in the UK and overseas, Louise is also a qualified teacher and an approved provider for Mountain Leader (ML), Lowland Leader, and Hill and Mountain Skills courses.

Thea Green

Meet Thea Green, a versatile freelancer whose passion for climbing began in her hometown of Shropshire. When she's not scaling cliffs, she's indulging in the thrill of handstands, often in unconventional settings! Her affinity for the great outdoors drives her to explore and appreciate the natural world, which she eagerly shares with others.

Thea loves being creative - painting, crochet, yoga and doing trips in her van.

OWEN HOLIFIELD

Instructor

Owen is from North Wales. Like most people the outdoors was just his hobby on the weekends. He made the decision to quit his job of 10 years and retrain as an outdoor instructor with Dynamic.

Owen is really excited to now be part of the Dynamic team and share his knowledge helping people to fill there goals.

EMMA BUNCE

Emma loves all things outdoors, especially kayaking, climbing and snowboarding. She's run expeditions throughout the UK and Europe and has travelled extensively outside of work. Also a Gold medal winning gymnast, she runs our after-school clubs - her energy and warm instructing style making her a firm favourite of school groups.

JON SWEET

Jon, who was born in Wales, maintains his lifelong passion for mountains and the great outdoors and is still most at home in the hills. A keen climber and hiker, his passion lies with multi-pitch climbing along with anything else that involves him being outside, rain or shine. He is a key member of the team along with Bear, his most excellent dog friend.

POLLY WATSON

Polly qualified from the Dynamic Adventures Outdoor Instructor course in 2021 and was employed directly due to her keen skills and leadership qualities. Polly’s passions lie in climbing and she is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge to better facilitate extraordinary experiences for people that didn’t think it was possible. Polly loves to travel and experience new places and cultures when she isn't out riding one of her horses!

RICK ALLBROOK

Devon born Rick sails dinghies, plays rugby, windsurfs, yachts with the Disabled Sailing Association and has skippered too. Whist he is a widely qualified and passionate outdoor enthusiast, it's safe to say that he loves being in, on and under the water the most and is our only team member to hold a British Sub Aqua Sports qualification.
