‍LONE WOLF MANCHESTER 2027 ‍

Saturday 27 – Sunday 28 February 2027 | Heaton Park, Manchester

One loop.

Every hour.

On the hour.

How far will you go?

Welcome to Lone Wolf Manchester 2027, a unique 24-hour endurance running challenge set in the beautiful surroundings of Heaton Park, Manchester.

Whether you're taking on your first 10K, working towards a half marathon or marathon, or testing your limits in pursuit of an ultra, Lone Wolf is a challenge for everyone. There’s no set distance you have to achieve. You decide how far you go.

The format is simple: complete one 6.7km loop every hour, on the hour. Finish within the hour and the remaining time is yours to rest, refuel and recharge before the next start.

Five laps, ten laps, fifteen laps or the full 24 — every lap is an achievement. Keep going for as long as you choose, whether that's a few hours or the entire 24-hour challenge.

For those with their sights set on the top spot, the final runners will battle it out for the Lone Wolf Championship, with one male and one female champion crowned.

But Lone Wolf is about much more than competition. It's about endurance, determination, camaraderie and discovering what you're capable of. Throughout the day and night, runners of all abilities come together to encourage, support and motivate one another.

Your pace. Your distance. Your challenge.

How far will you go?

HOW DOES LONE WOLF WORK?

The concept is simple, but the challenge is entirely your own.

  • One loop every hour: A new lap starts on the hour, every hour.

  • 6.7km per lap: Complete the loop within 60 minutes to qualify for the next start.

  • Rest between laps: Finish early and use your remaining time to eat, drink, recover and prepare for the next loop.

  • Choose your distance: Stop whenever you decide you've reached your goal, or keep going for the full 24 hours.

  • Take on the championship: The last runners standing will compete for the overall titles.

Whether you're aiming for 10K, a half marathon, a marathon or beyond, every lap brings a new opportunity to challenge yourself.

There is no pressure to run a particular distance. Set your own goal, find your rhythm and enjoy the experience.
