Ever wondered what it’s really like to make the great outdoors your everyday office?

We are opening our doors for a completely free multi-adventure taster day designed specifically for anyone interested in joining our upcoming Outdoor Instructor Training Course. You’ll spend the morning on the stunning River Dart before heading back to our brand-new eco-base at Meadowfields to test your skills on the range and see where you'll be living and training!

The Morning: River Dart Splash Down

We start the day right on the water in Totnes. Guided by our expert pro coaches, you’ll get a chance to test drive three of the most popular paddlesports in the industry:

  • Kayaking & Canoeing: Master the basics of tandem and solo paddling, exploring the tidal flows of the beautiful River Dart.

  • Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP): Test your balance, learn core stability techniques, and see why SUPing is the fastest-growing paddlesport in the UK.

The Afternoon: Back to Dynamic HQ (Meadowfields)

After working up an appetite, we'll head back to our main base at Meadowfields in Dartington for a high-energy afternoon on the range.

  • Archery & Tag Archery: Learn how to coach target archery, then gear up for Tag Archery—a fast-paced, dodgeball-style battle using foam-tipped arrows.

  • Axe Throwing: Channel your inner viking. Learn the exact rotation mechanics needed to bury a flying axe cleanly into the target.

  • The Pool Dip & Lunch: Bring your packed lunch to eat on-site, and feel free to bring your kit for a refreshing dip to cool off after an epic day!

Thinking about signing up for the full Instructor Training Course? During lunch, we'll give you an exclusive tour of our Meadowfields HQ so you can see exactly where you'll be staying during your training.

You’ll get a look at our beautifully Located detached bungalow nestled in the Devon hill—including an outdoor swimming pool in your back garden an access to a wood-fired sauna, cold plunge bath next door!

⚠️ Gear Up For Free: All specialist watersports gear (including wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and paddles) and range equipment are provided 100% free.

What to bring: A packed lunch, a refillable water bottle, swimwear/towel for the dip, and a change of warm clothes for the afternoon.
