A unique weekend of adventure and connection for dads, step-dads, grandads, older brothers, and uncles with their kids (ages 6+). Set in the breathtaking landscapes of South Devon, this experience is designed to foster teamwork, leadership skills, and unforgettable memories in a supportive, inclusive, and action-packed environment.

Event Details at a Glance

  • Accommodation: Private Wooden Camping Pods (Double bed + two bunk beds)

  • Facilities: Premium shower block, communal kitchen, and communal living space

What to Expect

  • Outdoor Adventures: High-adrenaline climbing, abseiling, scrambling, and ridge scrambling.

  • Water Expeditions: A scenic canoe journey on the stunning River Dart.

  • Leadership & Team Building: Fun activities designed to enhance collaboration, trust, and problem-solving.

  • Fireside Bonding: Unwind with group meals, a hearty BBQ, and marshmallow roasting around the campfire.

The Weekend Itinerary

Saturday: Rock & Ridge

  • 10:00 AM: Meet at Hound Tor Carpark (Dartmoor).

  • Daytime: Dive straight into the action with climbing, abseiling, and ridge scrambling. (Please bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day).

  • Evening: Arrive at our base camp in Dartington. Unpack, settle into your pods, and enjoy a massive group BBQ followed by fireside stories, hot drinks, and toasted marshmallows.

Sunday: River & Rapids

  • Morning: Start the day with a hearty breakfast before packing up base camp.

  • Daytime: Head to the water for an epic canoe journey down the River Dart, traveling from Totnes to Stoke Gabriel, complete with a riverside fire along the way.

  • 4:00 PM: Clean, tired, and full of memories—it's time to head home!

Accommodation & Facilities

Forget roughing it! You’ll stay in our warm and incredibly comfortable wooden camping pods, fully equipped with cozy duvets and pillows. On-site, you'll also have access to our stunning, modern shower blocks, a communal kitchen, and a relaxed living space to mingle with other families.

Clothing:

  • Outdoor-ready clothes and sturdy footwear

  • Warm layers (the evening can get chilly)

  • Towels

Food & Drink:

  • Packed lunch for Saturday

  • Refillable water bottle

Personal Items:

  • Any personal medications

  • Sunscreen

  • General toiletries and essentials for the weekend

Optional: Wetsuits are highly recommended for Sunday, but don't worry if you don't own one—they are available to borrow on-site!
