If you’ve ever thought about taking on an ultra race but aren’t sure where to start, let me tell you the team at Dynamic Adventure have absolutely nailed it with the Lone Wolf. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned runner, this event is proper brilliant. Honestly, I was blown away by how much support there is. Even if you’re running solo, you’ll never feel alone it’s like one big, cheering family. Everyone’s there to push each other on, share a laugh, or just give that “you’ve got this” nod when things get tough. And trust me, you’ll surprise yourself with how far you can go when you’re surrounded by such amazing people. It’s not just a race; it’s a proper adventure with proper community spirit. No jargon, no pressure. Just good vibes and that unbeatable feeling of crossing the finish line. I’ll 100% be back next year. Fancy giving it a go? You won’t regret it. Cheers, Dynamic Adventure – you’ve smashed it!

This event was phenomenal, where to begin: The camaraderie of the team was different level! They were super. The smiley marshals were lovely from the beginning until, rightly so, they faded away before the night closed in. Really enjoyed them sticking around to support.

From at the start, Paul calmly coordinated staff and participants. At 3/4am he drove down to certain parts of the track to keep us encouraged. To shaking my hand and looking me in the eye after 24 hours of running. He did everything with such good morality. When I consider what lessons I learnt it was the ones from how Paul carried himself and us.

I had the best 24 hours of my life!

Despite the awful weather and subsequent tricky ground conditions, the event was brilliant! It was Incredibly well organised with ample facilities and support. I hope Paul and the team see continued success with the race format next year!

Great event. Friendly, well-organised, relaxed. There was a hall used as the base between laps where you could keep your bag etc. The route was good - a mix of stony tracks and (very muddy this year!) single-track paths. The event format of one loop on the hour every hour is great - it means you're always running with others. Overall, I had a great time, and this is one I'll do again.
